So, after i wake up, i'm deeply moved by what I just dreamt. I wrote it all down on a piece of paper. I think about it the whole drive home. I was thinking about a subject for the post that i'd do under the dreams section. I was just going to write "wow", because that's all i could express for how much i felt affected by this. Then, I thought about how this would be an awesome movie. 2 kids fall in love their freshman year in college, but they don't tell their parents about eachother or anything, no one really knows about them and how much they connect. Maybe they go on a trip with a bunch of classmates, or are just at the wrong place at the wrong time, and something hugely terrible happens to them. I'm not talking car crash, i'm talking 9/11 bombing. there are deaths. Scars. Memory loss. Horrific tragedy. The two, almost dying, write on this notepad how much they love eachother, or atleast who they are, just to express how much they really were in love. They both go back to hospitals with their families, lost from eachother forever. Until, they both get physically well enough to return to college. Still living with the emotional trauma of what happened, they don't remember it at all. Maybe that notepad was a mutual friends, and he knows about them, but doesn't say anything because he had feelings for that girl, or he just couldn't say anything because they don't remember eachother anyway; it's not his place to get them to fall in love again. But when the two of them and that notepad are together, they start having flashbacks. And maybe with him, he has paralysis in his hand from the accident, or when he starts going numb before he blacks out from the memories. Then the title "losing touch" popped into my head. meaning, they lost touch with eachother, but he also physically loses his touch. Effing perfect. I'm kinda comparing this movie as similar to "The Notebook" if you ever saw it, but still, i think it's original enough.
